Screen shotsCrystal Plot Click the thumbnails to see the full image - the largest screen shot is about 150 kilobytes. Crystal PlotCrystal Plot is a simple, fast and attractive crystal structure drawing package fully integrated with Crystallographica's other tools. It can be used to look at different views of the same structure or to compare different structures. The viewing direction can synchronised between different Crystal Plot windows and also with RelPlot displays. Powder simulationCrystallographica includes a fast and powerful X-ray and neutron powder simulation facility. Observed patterns may be plotted for comparison in the flexible graphing tool. Multi-phase and residual plots may be generated using the scripting language.
DialogsCrystallographica's dialogs not only allow crystal properties to be set, they also give access to a great deal of useful information. A selection are displayed below.
RelplotCrystallographica's graphical tools include Crystal Plot for crystal structure drawing and RelPlot for viewing the reciprocal lattice in a variety of styles including weighted / unweighted and Argand, in which the reflection's phases are indicated. The viewing directions may be synchronised, providing a useful teaching aid. InterpreterCrystallographica includes a unique Pascal intepreter, which has been specially extended for crystallography with the addition of hundreds of built-in library routines. The interpreter is fully integrated with the graphical tools, which react automatically to interpreter commands. This provides a mechanism for creating vivid animations of phase changes, doping etc. The interpreter may be used either by typing commands in a simple "Interactive" window or else by preparing more complicated "Scripts" in the built-in text editor. These scripts are programs which can be integrated into the Crystallographica installation and used along side the built-in library functions.
